[Leisen] keeps things moving at a nice pace, and his attention to detail in the sets and costumes makes the film a joy to look at.

I became a fan of Ralph Bellamy after this film. He's always shunted into the other guy role in the comedies that I thought that was all he was good for. Boy was I wrong. He does a great dramatic role here. Lombard and MacMurray are great, too- not forgetting the bickering that prevails until the end. More a romance, though.

I love old movies. I have never seen a Carole Lombard movie. This was my first. I really enjoyed it. Fred MacMurray is devilishly handsome and has his pipe in hand "ala" Mr. Douglas from My Three Sons" Speaking of that, how great was it to see Fred have a scene with William Demarest in this movie. Great fun for an old film. Not too long and not too boring. Good one to watch.

Breezy lark with a sparkling Carole Lombard. She and Fred work well together as always and if you only know him from his years as the retiring dad on My Three Sons he's quite dishy here. Ralph Bellamy is the odd man out again but at lest his Allen is afforded some dignity here instead of being the poor sap he usually got stuck playing.
