I admittedly was suprised when the movie shifted gears halfway through but just as quickly found myself immersed in an epic struggle for triumph over tragedy. I did not see this film for years because of tepid reviews from top critics who are deeply concerned that the main charachter's race and alcoholism is insufficently 'explored' and can't seem to just revel in the victory of the brooding hero and sidekicks over the forces of evil. Nobody ever questions Batman or Spiderman when they fall of the wagon and emerge from the dark side; or is it the race thing? 4 stars + 1 star for the critics who caused me to miss this gem.

I love to watch that movie and want to fly like him and go anywhere but need more power to drink and fly like airplane plus fly real fast. If any problems I can get them to jail and the cops said oh my god I am superman in the best world and save the world by jesus christ.

I really enjoyed this movie. Will Smith was so funny. The twist in the movie was totally unexpected (kind of like how his Independence Day movie was-where you didn't know what the movie was about until you saw the movie). 2 thumbs up.

if you like super heroes you will definitely love Hancock, I do, really great movie, Will Smith was Hilarious, and the plot twist in the movie was a real shocker.
