This movie was great! It fills your need for nostalgia even more and does a great job at doing what a sequel is supposed to do. Build an icon. The only downside to the movie was the wasted time we spend panning to Jamie Lee Curtis that really is excessive at some points. She does have an awesome monologue at the end where she explains the curse of Michael Myers. If you are not a fan of the first two movies (78 & 81), then I can see how this movie would upset people. In Halloween II, Micheal goes to the hospital to finish his job of killing Laurie Strode. In this movie, you expect the same concept, and the movie instead throws a curveball and doesn't send Michael Myers to the hospital this time which is a double edged sword because we spent a lot of time expecting that, and then falling short. But on the flip side it's a twist that really surprising and unexpected, in an age where all thrillers and horror films are all too predictable.

it was good until the last 20 mins. Michael is a phony.

Halloween Kiils adds to a very successful franchise giving the audience more blood, gore and kills. Gives it a great spin and worth the ride.

I don't think it deserves a red score of 0-3, so I'll be generous and give it a 4 only for the kills/gore and sound. Everything else about this movie just stinks. The acting is horrible, the dialogue/script is even worse. The mob stuff was horribly done. Some of the worst acting I've ever seen. You've got to have extremely low standards to give this anything higher than a 5 or 6.

Remember Lonnie? The kid that Dr. Loomis scared from behind the bushes in John Carpenter's Halloween? How about Tommy and Lindsey, the kids Laurie Strode babysat while being stalked by the "shape"? Well I hope you care about those characters a lot because they have more screen time than Jamie Lee Curtis' s Laurie Strode, along with once Sheriff Brackett and a bunch of secondary characters around town. While Laurie is recuperating from her injuries in the hospital, the townsfolk become an unruly mob on the hunt for Michael Myers. And the many victims of Michael are these secondary characters who are introduced just to be killed off moments later. Sure, Halloween Kills is the middle of a trilogy, but considering what happens it could have been wrapped up with a single sequel instead of being spread out over three movies. And I hope you like the phrase "evil dies tonight". You'll hear it about 47 times.
