After failing to kill stubborn survivor Laurie and taking a bullet or six from former psychiatrist Dr. Sam Loomis, Michael Myers has followed Laurie to the Haddonfield Memorial Hospital, where she's been admitted for Myers' attempt on her life. The institution proves to be particularly suited to serial killers, however, as Myers cuts, stabs and slashes his way through hospital staff to reach his favorite victim.

Superb! This films is excellent like the first one! A masterpiece of horror!

Picking up right where they left off in the first movie, being that this movie was released three years later. Halloween II from 1981 is more scarier than the first one because it takes place at a hospital where the injured Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) is at after seeing her three best friends murdered bodies, getting cut on the upper left arm, fell thru a flight of stairs cracking a leg bone, and almost being choked to death by her insane brother Michael Myers. The scene where Michael kills one of the nurses in an overheated Jacuzzi was really scary and the scene where he kills the security guard with a hammer was kind of funny. Whatâ??s also funny is when you see Dr. Loomis (Donald Pleasence) shoot Michael six times and falls out of a second story balcony, you can barely see the safety mattress that stuntman Dick Warlock, who also plays the sadistic killer himself, landed on. I do the like the John Carpenter 1978 version, but I like Halloween II better and it's one of my favorite movies.

Really strong sequel that connects very well to the original, which is one of the greatest horror movies ever. They could almost combine the first two because they connect that well. They feel like they were filmed at the same time.

Nastavak je super, tocno se povezao sa prvim dijelom i cak mi je bio jos strasniji jer je on od pocetka poceo ubijati a nije trebalo proci pola filma. Jezivo, jedva cekam i druge dijelove.

I think it's far better than the original. I'm not sure what all the negative reviews are about. It's not as boring(and I love the original too), it's faster paced, the acting is better overall, the kills are better, the nudity is better. Everything is better in Halloween II than the original. It has a more rewatchabilty factor to it. I never understood the negative criticisms. It's a fantastic movie. Two thumbs way up!
