Makes you think about the reality beneath the surface, unhappiness beneath cheer, trauma beneath the stiff upper lip. This feels like how Pooh really happened, bother and all.

Sentimentality is mostly kept at arm's reach - unlike the famous bear, the film doesn't overindulge in the honey.

Alongside such familiar touchstones as "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood," Nilla Wafers and Candyland, A.A. Milne's Winnie-the-Pooh books remain an unsullied memory of childhood for generations of people-a pure, gentle and near-ubiquitous reminder of that perfectly uncomplicated period before puberty took us. Given the state of what the world is, was and always will be, now is as good a time as any to set our minds back to who we were before we became who we are-to recall the wisdom, imagination and youthful of childhood.

Absolutely brilliant! Winnie the Pooh was my first adventure in books and a cherished memory. The movie did everything right and my wife and I loved it!

O filme é meio lento em alguns momento, mas no geral não chega a ser entediante. O filme é realmente onde a história e, principalmente, os atores brilham.
