This was a real surprise. Quentin Tarantino said if you know where a movie is going after 30 minutes, it's not really a movie. I never knew what to expect next, an excellent script, excellent performances all the way around-including the first really good Robert Pattinson performance that i know of. But really, every actor was amazing in every role. Photography was also very well done, unique night cinematography was tremendous.

This sleazy, bleak, and primal low budget crime thriller feels like a cinematic punch in the face.

"Good Time" brings life back into the American cinema especially in the world of genre. It's gritty and raw feel makes us see the future of films and the hope we still may have in making art and art in its termite form. The Safdie's are genius and they deserve more light shown upon their work and presence in the film industry. MUST SEE

Spectacular. Ever since I saw Robert Pattinson in 'The Rover', my mind no longer type-casted Robert Pattinson as that emotionless vampire from the Twilight Series. However, I guess vampires are supposed to have no heart, so he may have nailed that as well. This is also one of those rare moments where the movie was even better than the masterly crafted trailer. After being pulled deeply into the trailer, there was a bit of a fear that I may be over-hyping this 'Good Time', whether this beautiful trailer could match the actual product. This movie begins with a bang and doesn't let up. I believe this was done intentionally as well with what felt like the longest beginning of all time. I only continuously type 'beginning' because this movie manages to pack in more excitement during it's opening credits scene than most movies that dub themselves as 'action' movies. See this movie. I will Venmo you your ticket price if you aren't fully satisfied. I will likely write a more lengthy review after a second watch.
