Gojoe: Spirit War Chronicle (2001)

Benkei, a master fighter and killer, vows never to take another life after his conversion to Buddhism. I really enjoyed the style of this film and its different view and portrayal of Japanese History.

I hate saying this as i realize all types of effort goes into all types of movies but...ewww... even asano couldn't save this one, in my opinion.

What a load of old pants, its so dumb and I thought it was supposed to be a great storey. Don't bother, watch Zatoichi instead.

Tadanobu Asano is one cool dude and so is Sogo Ishii. Beats the life out of dreck like The Last Samurai and Kill Bill

This film is amazing!! How can such a superbly made film be not more well known? The cinemotgraphy was impressive, the soundtrack rocked and it would take a katana to slice the through the atmosphere. See it!
