Tadanobu Asano is one cool dude and so is Sogo Ishii. Beats the life out of dreck like The Last Samurai and Kill Bill

A great japanese period fantasy piece. Its all swords, demons, good versus evil garbage, but well crafted & entertaining. If you like Zhou Yimous recent stuff you will like this.

great period piece. tadanobu asano is always great. and if you happened to play the game Genji, you may recognize some scenery and wardrobe similarities. also, i guess these people are historical figures that you may have heard of, if you're from Japan. Benkei kicks ass.

I hate saying this as i realize all types of effort goes into all types of movies but...ewww... even asano couldn't save this one, in my opinion.
