No further claims - except for the fun with a good dose of adrenaline - "Get To Gringo", starring renegade Mel Gibson , can take advantage of a good nutty story about a somewhat American gangster arrested in Mexico that ends in a penitentiary it works actually as a subdistrict where the boss, are the detainees themselves. It is interesting to follow the plans outlandish orchestrated by "gringo" to survive in a so unfriendly territory , mainly because a large part of the production reigns a content almost playfully, where verisimilitude and sense are discarded in the name of pure and simple entertainment. Although sometimes hit the exaggeration of blood, and the construction of a nearly indestructible anti-hero - much to the taste of action cinema widely practiced in the 80's - production can get away from the common place, with a touch of humor, and great finds, as the performance full of charisma and naturalness boy's Kevin Hernandez, who steals the show at any time, as the improbable partner of Gibson in his newest adventure. 8.0/10.0

really good movie that depicts the current corrupt situation in mexicos judicial system. it does seem like gibson is unkillable at times, but for the sake of the plot you really hope for the best at the end of the movie.

i saw this movie during a test screening months ago and thought it was fabulous!! i couldn't wait for it to come out in theaters so i could tell everyone to go see it! so i was in complete shock when i began to see commercials last week advertising for the dvd! wth?! i guess mel gibson has pissed off one too many important people or something cuz to me this seems like a total shun by hollywood. so sad. people need to get over it. anyways, they've changed the name from when i saw it (it was "what i did on my summer vacation") but if the film itself hasnt been recut or changed in anyway, i can say with full confidence... rent it, it's great!!

This is probably the best comedy of the summer, even better than forgetting Sarah Marshall, Russel Brand is hilarious.
