In 1958 New York Diane Arbus is a housewife and mother who works as an assistant to her husband, a photographer employed by her wealthy parents. i was originally going to give this film 4 stars, but that fact that you get two phenominal performances by both nicole kidman and nicole kidman, it deserves 5 stars. boths stars brought it from the soul making FUR an erotic, sad, moving, comedic, yet beautifully done i say. brought love from the ground, and made in soar into the heavens. although adultery was the variable in her fascination to the mystery man upstairs, the addiction and "fatal attraction" to downey jr.'s character made kidman all more the charming, sexy, woman we love to see on the screen. makes eyes wide shut look like a 5 dollar walmart bin film.

I was really suprised at how Nicole Kidman played such a racey part. The story was very fantastic. Robert Downey Jr. was simply amazing...even covered in freakish amounts of hair!

Such a strangely beautiful movie. Both Kidman and Downey have this look in there eyes when they're staring at each other, it's really frightening and memorizing. I love Diane's fascination with the outside world and Lionus' contribution to pushing her out there.
