I love every Hepburn film of course, but this one has something special. I think Woody understands as well how much there is to appreciate about the work and the breakthroughs of these great multi-talented film stars. The film is physical, so much genius being pumped into it by two of the greatest natural dancers of the age. Do you lose your mind when Audrey flies down the staircase like Nike herself in that red gown?! Sure Caron was beautiful and recognized as the only other female actor/dancer to hold a candle to Audrey's style and physique, but Audrey comes alive in the numbers with Astaire and you almost forget he and Ginger Rodgers wrote the book on dancing. Not to mention Audrey's true affiliation with high fashion is depicted here so there is that highlight for all who appreciate the artform. I see no one mentions the Richard Avedon aspect do they? Well, more hat tips to artists saluting their great colleagues.

You can't beat this unsuspected yet amazing duo! It's a classic story that will touch any romantic's heart, but I still can't believe the plot is based on Audrey's "unconventional?" beauty.

this movie is fantastic. It's all about Kay Thompson, who's hilarious and so brilliant, (Think Pink and Clap Yo' Hands...) as well as the Gershwin score and of course, Audrey.
