Colin, an ambitious young American businessman, has a deal with a potential client, a rich Arab sheikh who is a passionate pigeon fancier. The sheikh has tried several times to buy a champion pigeon, but the owner continues to stubbornly refuse his offer. In an attempt to gain the trust of the Sheikh, Colin offers him a deal: if he manages to convince the owner to sell the champion pigeon, the sheikh will agree to do business with Colin's company. But when Colin meets Jos, the grumpy owner of the pigeon, and Isabella, his granddaughter, he realizes that this mission will not be as easy as he had hoped.

I've become a huge Jamie Dornan fan. I could watch him all day, every day. But, in this movie (also known as Racing Hearts), like in Fifty Shades, he holds on to the stalker/killer persona as in his role in The Fall. I almost wonder if those types of roles are the ones he's best suited for... He should probably also consider some action roles, maybe even be groomed for a future James Bond, where he's not emotionally attached to his female co-stars' character.

Not sure why everyone is raving about Jamie Dornan in this film other than the eye candy aspect. Charlotte De Bruyne and Jan Decleir give much more authentic performances. There is little believable magic between the 2 romantic leads although De Bruyne tries her best. Sweet story, rather predictable, but based on the true story of a pigeon who saved soldiers in WWI. The loving beautiful shots of the Belgian countryside make it almost worthwhile.
