Wealthy socialite Charlotte Cartwright and her dear friend Alice Pratt, a working class woman of high ideals, have enjoyed a lasting friendship throughout several decades. Recently, their lives have become mired in turmoil as their adult children's extramarital affairs, unethical business practices, and a dark secret threaten to derail family fortunes and unravel the lives of all involved. Charlotte and Alice decide to take a breather from it all by making a cross-country road trip in which they rediscover themselves and possibly find a way to save their families from ruin.

This movie was great. I loved the fact that Tyler Perry backed up a bit and let the other actors shine. If you haven't seen it you should go

Great movie - great stars!!! Once again Tyler Perry has hit it out of the park with a story of true to life experiences, no candy coating or molly coddling of issues - true raw emotion. Sibling rivalry very realistic. Sanaa Latham is awesome in this role - first time seeing her in a role like this. Robin Givens is vintage. Kathy Bates and Alfre Woodard play off each other so well. So many different themes of life in this movie. Won't say what they are because it will spoil it for those who have not seen it. Well worth the price of admission.

I thought this movie was Fantastic! It was different from Perry's norm and it was great! It had the realism of everyday life that no one wants to talk about.
