This is a fairly funny mockumentary about a casting call for an unfinished Bruce Lee film by the name of "The Game of Death". The Director Justin Lin of "Fast & the Furious: Tokyo Drift" and the new "Fast & Furious" definitely switches up the gears here from his usual work. the film starts out really funny then the comedic aspects are kind of hit or miss depending on the viewers sense of humor. "Finishing the Game" is a film that is really hard to figure out I definitely didn't hate it and I'm not sure how much I liked it. In the end I would definitely recommend it if you like 70's type films and/or mockumentaries.

Hilarious! Great concept and execution. Justin Lin has certainly improved as a filmmaker because the film is so balanced.

I've been struggling to figure out whether or not I liked this movie, and the mere fact that this internal battle of opinion had to occur in the first place definitely knocked off a star. But in the end, the side of me that liked the movie won. That's why it gets three stars. Some bits are so damn cheesy/predictable, but the parts that work really do. And Sung Kang was definitely one of the people who really made this movie.

as expected... i think i'm getting good at setting expectations for movies, loll. i'll admit that when the trailer first came out i was STOKED. as in... i got a poster and everything. hahaha. anyway, i just love the blt cast [lol who doesn't these days] and it was so fun just seeing them in a different element... well for sung kang at least :P anyway... 3 stars are for 1. an acknowledged mockumentary asian americans 2. james franco? hell yea that's cool of him 3. kang's & the casting director's weirdness 4. simply coming up w/ 'Breeze Loo' L O L. i fell under this movie's spell after i heard that ridiculous name. haha. overall, this movie would get 2 stars, but i'm biased in this rating so it is now 3. tada...
