A bizarrely charming film. It does the best job of getting me to root for the bad guys I've seen in any film since "Thank You For Smoking." Vin Diesel, given a chance to play something other than a musclebound thug communicating in monosyllables, really does well as an overweight thug communicating in mildly insulting but earnest speeches. There are a few problems with the film, but most of them stem from the titanic task of crunching down a years-long trial into a two hour film. Overall, quite fun and even moving at points.

A terrific film! A great character piece by Lumet and a fine performance from Vin Diesel. Funny, poignant, and touching.

I don't normally watch this type of movie, but vin diesel did an absolute great job in defending himself....he really cracked me up defending himself....a really good movie....funnnnnnnnnnny....and he looked funny with hair.......i like him bald......bald to me is sexxxxxy.........

Oh My Goodness... Has to be Vins Best Performance To Date. Didn't even look like Him!! He did such a wonderful job. I thought they did such a great job with the cast. The movie seemed to breeze right by. Before I new it..it was over. I really enjoyed the movie.
