This was actually a pretty good movie ignoring the okay acting!

One of the greatest Christian and sports movies with great examples of relying on your" faith, not sight".

Another wonderful movie by the same people that did Fireproof. Fantastic story.

Our family loved, loved, LOVED this movie and plan to add it to our permanent collection. While it is a movie about faith in God amidst difficult times I disagree with some critic's claim that it was a bible-beating flick. The storyline was realistic with a healthy mix of encouragement, enlightenment, excitement, fun & sadness. The fact that amateurs and volunteers made this movie on a shoestring budget made it that much more impressive. Don't miss the golden nuggets in the Special Features section!

An inspiring and touching story of a football coach who thinks he's a failure at life, displays faith in the Lord, and sees what the Lord can do with a life fully yielded to Him. Though this was a great success story where God made everything turn out the way the characters hoped, it is obvious that in reality God works according to His own glory for our good. We will receive what is truly the best for us, even if it's not want we want at the moment. My favorite line from the movie goes like this: "If we win, we will praise God. If we lose, we will praise God." Either way, God is worthy of all praise!!
