A truly sensational film! The utter definition of a must-watch. 'Everything Everywhere All at Once' is impressive from every single viewpoint. I had heard murmurs of it being a great film, yet it still managed to completely smash my expectations. This 2022 release features a superb cast, a fascinating story and some top notch visuals. The editing and pacing, in particular, are brilliant. The onscreen talent are all fantastic, but Michelle Yeoh is still the absolute standout from this. What a performance! I could watch her in this role over and over and over. With that said, Ke Huy Quan (welcome back!) is awesome as well, as are Stephanie Hsu, James Hong and Jamie Lee Curtis. Everyone plays their part very, very well. All of the humour lands, with some parts being truly funny. It also manages to show supremely enjoyable action alongside a highly meaningful side too.

Just finished “Everything Everywhere All At Once” and I really liked it. It felt so, genuine. No spoilers, but there were a lot of really touching moments, and there was a part where I was, ok this feels really open, well it reminded me of what it used to feel like when I was in love and holding them in my arms.. Like extreme tunnel vision and warmth and happiness and nervousness and everything,, Haven’t felt that in years, and it was, good.. My parents found it all a bit too silly, but I think they did a wonderful job.

I went to see this movie because a friend of mine told me it looked fun. Before I went to the cinema, I knew nothing about the film, neither the genre nor the directors. When the movie ended, I still didn’t really know what it was but I was sure of one thing, it was amazing. The more I think about it, the more I realize that this film has no real flaw. The action scenes are very beautiful and we feel all the love of the directors for the films of Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan. The editing is very fluid and pleasant. The film is well rhythmic, you never get bored. The writing is as touching as it is funny. This film is really impressive, it surprises us every second. You never really know what you’re watching, you alternate between sf and family drama. This film is really a new breath in the current film industry, an author’s blockbuster that never suffers from its low budget and that could become for the next generation of filmmakers a revolutionary film as was the first Matrix (whose film is inspired ) by its positivity, its universal message, and its cinematic qualities.

I really love how this movie can hit such touching, poignant themes while simultaneously being absolutely absurd. I can't think of any other movie I've seen that has made me want to cry from the feelings it's making me feel while at the same time wanting to laugh at the absurdity. I've watched it twice and I may have loved it even more the second time as I was able to appreciate the metaphors better the second time around.

This is the perfect film. Daniels have masterfully combined every genre into one movie about the importance of family and self-love. There are laughs, there are tears, and there are gasps. No other motion picture has sent me soul-searching the way that EEAAO has. So much of this film relies on Michelle Yeoh’s performance, and she delivers in every way. There are moments on screen in which Yeoh is literally opening her heart in front of our eyes, and that is a powerful thing to depict on film.
