Fantastic Film Kurt Played Elvis Well. Great over look of Elvis Life

Not a lot of drama or real insight into the King but a light hearted biopic that has it's moments. Kurt Russell does an excellent Elvis voice, too bad he didn't get to do his own singing.

I thought Kurt Russell did an excellent job at playing Elvis, he had all the right moves, like elvis and everything. In a way he kind of looked like elvis from the side and from a distance, and Shelly Winters looks exactly like Gladys Presley.

I usually don't go much on made for tv movies but this one is extremly watchable. Russell and Carpenters first collaboration and it shows how well they work together

I want to like this, I really do. I even watched the 3 hour long version in hopes it would be great. But it's so factually inaccurate and cheesy I really can't say much about it other than it's a sort of decent 101 into Elvis I suppose? Kurt Russell, considering he looks nothing like Elvis, does do a great job of getting Elvis' ticks and moves down- if you squint and imagine his voice about a pitch lower he's pretty great.
