[John] Carpenter... puts the dramatic focus on the relationships and tricky social dynamic with the male friends who became Elvis support group and entourage.

This movie has a one heck of a talent for elvis fans that loves the kings music and images and movies this elvis the movie is a full Star Rating for Movie Fans I Give it a Thumbs Up 5 All Star Rating ++++++++++++++++

Another TV flick but much better even if most unusual for Carpenter. So, here is another Elvis biopic mostly remembered to be the first collaboration between JC and Kurt Russell. Good thing is, it's a lot better than the whole bunch of the King's biopic that were produced after that on TV. Enjoyable even if you're not a fan of Elvis, and I fall into that category.
