The 46-year-old Salman Khan is more Sean Connery than Daniel Craig when it comes to playing a spy hero and it's become less plausible to take him seriously as an action star.

Ek Tha Tiger is an entertaining movie but relies on mediocre performances, great action, great songs and good visuals to hide it's overused story. To be clear, this movie has almost the same story as Mr. & Mrs. Smith, even if you put that aside this movie has action, good visuals and great songs to entertain you.

Ek Tha Tiger directed by Kabir Khan is an average action flick with great performance by Salman Khan.The movie has the same love story,which has been the story of thousands of Hindi movies.But the difference here it is the love story between two agents belong to entirely different nations.The movie is not a must-watch but can be watched if you have nothing to do!

It tries to make every other scene "dramatic" with little more than cuts and backround music. No buildup. The spy stuff is predictable and Katrina Kaif's tendency to fly from helpless damsel to action heroine disconcerting. You know a movie is bad when you catch yourself rewriting scenes in you head.
