When aspiring knight Gareth goes in search of a fallen comet rumored to contain gold, he is shocked to instead find the dragon Drago. After Drago saves Gareth's life the two become intricately bonded, and must work together to defeat an evil sorcerer and stop his reign of terror. Great dragon effects, decent acting... mediocre everything else. The antagonists are one-dimensional characters who are evil because they're evil. The main character gets a superpower that he uses once, midway through the movie, and then is never spoken of again. The story is bad, is what I'm saying.

Certaininly alot better than the second movie and I believe its a Prequal to DragonHeart 1, there is no mention of Bowan or any of the other characters of the past movies.

Fun movie, great dragon effect. All wrapped around the code of the knight. Does not have as much fun with itself as the first one.
