Doomsday Book strives to make you think and contemplate the current state, future, and definition of humanity rather than being straightforward and the flat out entertainment that you may be used to.

Triple shot of apocalyptic weirdness from South Korea.

Minus the 3rd short film, the first two were quite excellent. Actually really really enjoyed the second one.

I enjoyed all of the three vignettes but I loved Ji-woon Kim's (the second vignette). With a minimum of violence, he communicated so much of the angst that plagues modern humanity, and created a sequel-worthy ending to boot.
