Sabina has a regular life. She is satisfied with her job and her love for Franco. Lately nightmares start disturbing her, and almost in the same time she discovers to be pregnant. Step by step she remembers her childhood spent within a severe middle-class family. But a big secret is hidden within her heart. Sabina wants to contact again her brother, a University teacher in the US, to try to understand what is happened in their past. What is the secret? The kind of witless production that should rightly be cluttering the discount bins at your local video store.

Although a very conventional way of presenting some personality disturbances, this film is still a hit if you want to dig on the nature of reluctance and resistance.

This film is a very slow dramatic film that lingers a little to much but has some intense moments.

Reach exceeds grasp in this rather dull and soap operatic like film. The performances are stiff even when you can tell how powerful the scene is supposed to be and many of the relationships seem all too forced. Very offbeat and unusual, yet far from engaging.
