John Arnold DeMarco is a man who believes he is Don Juan, the greatest lover in the world. Clad in a cape and mask, DeMarco undergoes psychiatric treatment with Dr. Jack Mickler to cure him of his apparent delusion. But the psychiatric sessions have an unexpected effect on the psychiatric staff and, most profoundly, Dr Mickler, who rekindles the romance in his complacent marriage.

Even though Johnny has been typecasted again, he fills his boots wonderfully. Pleasantly humorous, for the true romantic.

Okay, I'm going to say something I've never said regarding any other movie. Naysayers are simply and utterly just wrong. This is a GREAT movie. Depp, Brando and Dunaway give fabulous performances and if the subject matter isn't heavy and deep, well, guess what? It's not supposed to be! It's a fun, well-written, well-directed hour and a half of pure enjoyment. There. I've said it. I'm right. Anyone who disagrees is wrong. Case close. Moving on from here I'll be open minded again.

I think that this is the hottest Johnny Depp has ever been. [don't get me wrong, he is still smexy as hell!] His accent is just so.....ah!! Its so orgasmic! He is indeed the world's greatest lover. Marlon Brando gave a wonderful performance and that's saying alot seeing as I don't particularly like him all that much.
