It’ll draw unfair comps to Top Gun, but the air scenes are actually done quite well. A bit too long and formulaic, but effective with its action and performances.

O que mais gostei no filme foi ele não se resumir apenas na abordagem racial do piloto negro nos anos 50, mas nos conceitos de amizade e confiança entre os pilotos protagonistas. Tem boas cenas aéreas de voo.

"Devotion" (2+ hrs, only $21M w/w, PG-13) seems to have promised more than it actually delivered. This rates as one of the most boring, slow-paced military action films I've ever seen. And it dwelt too much on racial oppression and differentiation themes that just further contributes to its ruin. As such, we exited early so we wouldn't have to complain about losing 2hrs of our lives.

Powell and Majors, both born with surfeits of natural charisma, strain mightily to imbue their scant dialogue with deeper meaning, but Devotion, earnest and determinedly earthbound to the end, never really captures the air up there.

Glorifying a conflict that would be America’s first of the modern blueprint for imperialist war crimes. It’s pretty funny that the lead actor went from accurately depicting it in Lovecraft Country to this trash propaganda. 5 out of five, would warcrime again.
