The film's gimmick is well-orchestrated and engaging, but it's weighed down by too many contrivances and too much unnecessary pastiche.

Very good movie. The plot is written very well. I haven't seen a film like that for a long time in which I was genuinely surprised with the writing. It has a lot of suspense and engaging content. The dialouge is very good, the acting is very good. The styilisation is good, the movie looks good. It covers a range of topics, there is genuine emotion and empathy for the characters. There are surprises and it is all pulled off professionally. Really, a surprisingly good movie.
