Detour is a tautly efficient thriller that fully succeeds in making the viewer identify with its hapless protagonist’s desperate plight.

I found it to be slow and irritating at times. It is a thriller with 5 people in the cast mainly one figure for entire movie too bad I didn't like much anything about him.
