Very interesting story about a trump like liar and how far he will go in order to seek revenge and validation for his lies. We also learn a lot about the English trial system and how it differs from USA's judicial process.

Probably the best-acted film so far this year, the way in which it portrays its scenes involving research almost mimics the scenes in which it portrays its courtroom drama, which is effective and keeps the entire film overall suspenseful. Given the enormity of the situation it's depicting, it successfully makes the viewer feel that weight, with Timothy Spall giving a great performance as the film's villain and main driving force. Easily the best performance of Andrew Scott's career.
