A really good movie with decisions made by the protaganists escalating and creating tensions among each other. The frathouse pranks were well played and the beginning of the movie really helped create mood and tension which carried on throughout the flick. It ran out of steam a little before the end with different caveats added to the increasingly weighted down plot. Overall it was great with decent acting and a good story.

The film's self-conscious brand of imitation Tarantino was already stale over a decade ago. It's no better now.

Something watch. Wasn't great and wasn't horrible but it kind of made Fraternities look stupid. For one if it was real the Frat Boyz would have just taken their friend to the hospital and dropped him off there, plus nobody would have believed the black guy's testimony as to what happened in the store in a small ass rinkydinky hicktown like that, and the guy that died while pledging would have been swept under the rug by the police of the small ass college hicktown that has nothing popping off BUT the fact that it's a college town where everyone IN the town is part of the surrounding Fraternity Houses or Alumni to those Frats. Because at the end of the day it would only make their little town look bad and fuck up the economy of that town. But at the same time there would have been no movie if those things happened. OR MAYBE it would have been a more DEEPER movie as opposed to a parody of what Brotherhoods are all about. Plus if it was real the one Pledger wouldn't have snitched and if he did there would be like 10 people going against his word.

Actually pretty good...Only things I didn't like about it was it is another movie showing fraternities in a bad light and some of the language was uncalled for..Other than that pretty decent for what it was

** (out of four) A decent twist in the end can't save this far-fetched and at times annoying thriller that strives to say something about the way people react to a bad situation and how they take or for their actions. It doesn't hit its mark. A fraternity prank turns horribly bad when a new pledge accidently shoots a convenience store worker during initiation. It's hard to care much about the characters when they are all so unappealing.
