An 80's movie with a corny title and a surprisingly clever plot that covers genres of science fiction, comedy, and horror. Think of this movie as something that could be for children but it is too violent, and cross the movie with elements of "Reanimator," "Pet Sematary," "Terminator," and "Flatliners." I was entertained by this movie.

Wes Craven makes great movies. I liked the plot. And honestly, this movie was good. They did a good job with the robot remembering the pain he and Kristy were caused. B++++++ to me.

Info compares to Re-Animator but only in an aspect of plot, not in quality or cult status. There is one kill that is one of the most memorable that I've seen. It's up there with Scanners' head explosion and Maniac's shotgun kill. Other than that, kind of falls flat but worth a watch. Song during ending credits and DVD menu is pretty good too. Bee Bee! Glad I own this.
