Daylight (1996)

A group of armed robbers fleeing the police head for the New Jersey Tunnel and run right into trucks transporting toxic waste. The spectacular explosion that follows results in both ends of the tunnel collapsing and the handful of people who survived the explosion are now in peril. Kit Latura is the only man with the skill and knowledge to lead the band of survivors out of the tunnel before the structure collapses.

This movie was okay... Some parts were sad, but it was pretty good; kind of predictable, though. I liked the fact that Stallone was in it and saving people as usual, but this reminded me a lot of The Poseidon Adventure, only without the boat. Four stars just because Stallone was in it, without Stallone, I'd give it three.

Really a great movie and one of the last great ones Stallone was in. Defintely worth the watch.

I happen to love disaster movies. You can never really make a good one, and when they're bad it's even better. It's cheesy, has music that sounds like it belongs in Rocky, and has poor science involved. I love it ;p It felt A LOT like the Poseidon Adventure. So if you liked that movie, you should like this one.
