Dawn of the planet of the apes just might be the best of the entire franchise. What really makes it stand out is a gripping story, involving power characters and their struggle for survival, not just against the outside forces, but also fighting the inner turmoil. The only criticism, and the reason why it's not a 10 is that they kinda jumped into the whole apocalypse thing without much development prior. But other than that, it's a thrilling picture worth watching twice

Best movie of the year so far in terms of emotion. Grandiose, must-see movie of the summer 2014. Right there with Cap 2 this year. Can't wait for the third movie. The action and storyline was incredible. 3rd best

This movie is way better than the first one. This one has a strong sense of emotion and depth.
