One of the best and most classic Western stories ever. Despite having some unnecessary humor and a rather simple story, I really enjoyed the movie; It has good special effects, good actors and very interesting story. Highly recommend.

Fess Parker's "Davy Crockett" provides entertaining of his Tennessee origins to his final act of courageous devotion at the Alamo. Serious historians certainly dispute the film's adherence to the facts of Davy Crockett's life. This protrayal made Davy Crockett a hero to the men of US' baby boomer generation.
