Churchill is an interesting person to study. The movie is about historical events. It was well acted and compelling. Yes I will see it when it is available to rent

Amazing acting. Can't say enough about how fantastic Gary Oldman was.Won't be surprised if he doesn't win an Oscar.

Saw it Christmas Eve and enjoyed it. Might have taken some dramatic liberties with the era which I have studied closely but generally historically accurate and the cinematography was outstanding. Moved quickly and plot lines nicely woven in. Highly recommended.

A truly remarkable performance by Gary Oldman who captures the formidable persona of Churchill with the true British bulldog spirit . The film moves at a nail biting showdown to the decisions after the resignation of Chamberlain and spirit of never say die which lead to the heroic rescuing of ours boys in Dunkirk.

Oldman disappears inside Churchill. Giving the old boy something other than irascibility, he, and this movie plunge us deeply into the man's turmoil, and into the machinations of England's politics.
