Great plot, great actors, and the best script i've ever heard. The word play is hilariously awesome!

An excellent performance by Ferrier makes this film a delight. It slips away a bit later on in the piece, but the action, and dialogue keep the ball rolling.

This is my favorite of what I call "old movies"; some old movies are exempt from this category, such as Casablanca, The Wizard of Oz, and middle-to-late Hitchcock. This production of the Rostand is most definitely an "old movie", but it is so good. José Ferrer is SO the MAN!!!!!!!

this movie is flawless! i have been in love with Cyrano since i was born. my mother raised me on this movie. the poetry of the script is timeless and warming. every man and woman should see this movie.
