Crooked Hearts (1991)

An upper-middle class family in Washington state deals with failures, infidelities and troubling secrets. Charley is 26 and still lives at home, despite his simmering anger at his father, Edward. Charley's younger brother, Tom, just dropped out of college and returned home to live. Tom's unstable new girlfriend, Marriet, has designs on joining the family, but she's hardly a calming influence on the crumbling home.

peter berg is great in this.even if it is a bit flawed and hokey...

It has alot of good actors...Juliette Lewis, Peter Coyote, Vincent D'Onofrio, Noah Wylie. It's about a dsyfunctional family and all of their problems. I enjoyed the storyline and the troubled characters and how everything came together at the end.

A bit scattered, but some very fine performances. The story is good, but it tends to jump around a bit much and tries to tackle too many subplots.

Crooked Hearts is a disappointing film. It is about a very troubled family beset from all sides by conflict, arguments and scandal. Vincent D'Onofrio and Peter Berg give terrible performances. The screenplay is badly written. Michael Bortman did a horrible job directing this movie. I was not impressed with this motion picture.

An intense family drama as they grow up to be different people with different issues...engaging and touching...very good performances from a rich cast
