Yet another heartbreakingly beautiful, brutally touching, absolutely fucking gorgeous perfect film from Ingmar Bergman. I swear that man sold his soul to Jesus.

Cries and Whispers finds Ingmar Bergman again wrestling with the existence of God and the ambiguity of human relationships. Sven Nykvist absolutely deserved his Academy Award for Best Cinematography, as the imagery of this film is amazing.
