Great, but also very dark movie. You get pulled into this time and setting very easily and left in shock sometimes.

i give the first hour three stars. and the last hour five stars. it has huge pacing problems. but once it settles in, it fits nicely alongside the virgin suicides and picnic at hanging rock and heavenly creatures. eva green owns this shit.

Interesting blend of sexual tension, costume drama and high school tension. It works for me. Eva Green looks great but is Maria Valderde the true star.

For the first half hour or so, I was concerned that this might be your average period piece. However, once the 'Cracks' begin to show, it really picks up and becomes a pretty decent movie.

Eva Green is an angel. Any movie she is in deserves 5 stars. *sigh*
