The movie itself is fun: goofy, softhearted, fussy, sometimes funny, and with the sort of happy ending that columnists like to find for their stories and hardly ever find themselves.

This was the movie that proved that John Belushi wasn't just a comedy guy, he was indeed an actor. Used to watch this on tape when i was sick as a child, the story always made me feel better.

Belushi is great in the WHAT? LOVE STORY? Yes. Bittersweet as it was released around th etime of his tragic overdose death.

to me this movie showed what a gifted actor John really was. You can't help but fall in love with him when you watch it. just a shame we could not see him develop more in his roles.
