Deeply odd films are often deeply personal ones, and Constellation, a dazed, inchoate drama about a mixed-race Alabama family, tells a story that's clearly close to the heart of writer-director Jordan Walker-Pearlman.

Would have expected a better movie with such a great cast. However, this movie was somewhat painful at times to watch. It was really drawn out and the real plot path I still can't seem to follow. However, there were a couple 'lessons' that I got from it that didn't make it an entirely horrid movie.
