I am probably the wrong person to write this review. There is something about Conan that amuses me to no end. I was even one of those strange people who paid far more than one should to sit uncomfortably in the rafters of Massey Hall to catch his tour. That tour was the subject of this film. What you quickly realize is that Conan is constantly entertaining. Quite a jump for a former writer plucked from Saturday Night Live to host the post Tonight Show Letterman slot. We also get to see resentful Conan with barbs attached to jokes directed at staff. What we don't do is blame him for the behavior. How would any of us deal with the touring life? Too much insider baseball for the non Conan fan but entertaining nonetheless.

It was an excellent expression cinematically of the raw intensity Conan seems to have that does not come out through his filtered & restrained basic cable renderings. The movie was not a barrel of laughs, but there were plenty of them associated with the dark unfortune & irony Conan seemed to be faced with. He has a talent for making the worst almost alright by making people laugh & by showing them different perspectives. No one has seen Conan O'Brien this way except those in his personal life, this docu-dramady is captivating despite its somewhat rocky editing which seems to depict how rocked his nerves were. I recommend this movie to anyone who doesn't mind hearing the 'f' word a lot.

A very interesting look at the tour Conan went on when released from his Tonight Show contract to make way for the return of Jay Leno to the chair. Extremely funny and cathardic at the same time showing Conan as a man constantly looking for an audience and need for getting his feelings out there while maintaining a certain element of his struggles private. Showcases his immense talents and the need for him to be constantly on but it is great to see those occasional moments when its just him and the camera and he is left to be quiet. A tad meanspirited at times but its part of his release under a stressful time. Solid.

In its own way, "Conan O'Brien Can't Stop" resembles "Michael Jackson's This Is It," showing us the genesis of a show, the creativity behind it, the behind the scenes drama and the final product...and he's a lot funnier than Jackson ever was.

This movie is really, really funny. You get to see what Conan is like -- warts and all. His relationship with his assistant is priceless. I laughed all the way through this movie. I highly recommend it.
