Great documentary. I didn't even think of these subjects in that way before. I mean... I knew there were bullies, I didn't know it was that bad and the funniest thing is that it IS surprising that comedians don't have dinosaur skin... haha. No really. I really thought they were resistant because they were emotionally free, stable, strong and didn't give a shit. Boy was I wrong. I actually like Jamie Kennedy and all the comedians and actors in this documentary. I actually like pretty much everyone, because each person did or said something memorable and impressive once or at least once... Anyway, I loved how they showed some older footage and I loved how Jamie interviewed the hecklers and the critics. It's funny how stupid their faces looked when they were confronted, even the "evil critic" in the end, I think even he felt horrible... Poor Jamie. :(

Heckler doesn't penetrate like a proper documentary should; it's more silly than exploratory, missing a prime opportunity to crack open a dialogue between critic and performer that could generously benefit both parties.

This movie really made me think about some of the past reviews I've done. As we sit here in our high and mighty chair at home by ourselves or at work or wherever you are doing your review you are safe to say whatever you want without consequences. What I missed is that you are reviewing someone else's hard work and in the end it really is just your opinion. How many times have you read a review or heard someone saying how a movie sucked and you thought it was awesome, it is kinda a kick in your nuts because they are basically saying you don't know what you are talking about. Honesty doesn't always have to be mean or hurtful. I have seen the light and my future reviews are gonna be still honest but not at the cost of someone's feelings. This movie was really funny and entertaining. I am a fan of almost all of the comics in the movie and laughed out loud at some of the heckler interactions. So think before you type because someone may write the same things about you someday and see what it makes you feel.

Roger Ebert once talked about a producer who clapped at the end of every movie no matter what. The producer knew how hard it was to get a movie made, and how hard it was to get it on screen. It is a difficult process, and sometimes we forget how much and blood and sweat it takes to make something for ourselves. It doesn't matter what it is, whether you're a standup, a writer, a filmmaker, or whatever the case. It takes a lot of determination and work. The other thing that you have to take into consideration is when you realizing the people you're criticizing have feelings. Something that critics seem to sometimes forget. To me there is no worse ever made. Yes there are movies that aren't good, but even bad movies are good in a way. Because they provide examples on how to do things. This is a good little film that helps us remember that we all are human, and that sometimes it's been to actually give good critique then slamming people into the wall all the time.

I enjoyed this movie alot seriously it does give you a look into the feelings of the actors and comedians that are on the receiving end of all this brunt. and really alot of it is inspirational into how you should handle life in general.
