Funny 1940 comedy, made funnier by the fall of communism. Clark Gable and Hedy Lamarr give good performances. Quote: "The communists are being executed so that communism can survive.#

Lamarr and Gable have good chemistry, but overall it's a dull Ninotchka wannabe.

Most definitely a take off on Ninotchka from a year earlier, but it's not nearly as good. Still, it has it's charms and a terrific cast. The supporting players outshine the stars in this one
