Cold & calculated murder. The ego in full flight. Two young men believe they can get away with murder. I great film with fine acting & brave storytelling with a strong hint homosexuality..brave for 1959.

very well done! orson welles steals the show with his monologue based on darrow's defense of leopold and loeb. extremely well done film!

This is a great film. This is definetely somewhat of an underappreciated gem in Orsen Well's filmography. Although his screen time is only roughly ten minutes, he's still able to steal the show. His court room speech was fantastic and is proof on why he is one of the great actors in cinema history. Based on the Leob/Leopold case.

Oh my God, I thought this was amazing! Definately in my top 20. The acting, direction and editing was fantastic. Very interesting and a must for old movie lovers and crime buffs.
