Ominous and full of twists and turns, Cold in July is a solid thriller, even if it sometimes burns a little too slowly.

A slow burn to say the least. This movie kicks some serious ass. Stellar performances, a clever script, and an awesomely campy soundtrack make this film kick as much ass as it did.

7.8/10 Michael C Hall, Sam Shepard and Don Johnson were just excellent in this movie, just by their performances you could truly enjoy it and the story was very good and interesting. It was really a very good thriller, that mixed some humor and a lot of intrigue that was well done. ~August 19, 2015~

This movie is honestly a Gem, its one of the best movies I have seen this year, this movie has well written characters, a memorable plot, and just a great message, I really shouldn't say much after that.

Stylish as hell and fantastically written. Each character develops despite how short of a time they may have on screen
