Its a very wrong movie with relations between siblings. It may have Alan Rickman in it but its so unbelievable, who on earth would leave Alan R for Clive Owen? Who would leave Alan Rickman full stop???? Strange things are afoot.

I saw most of this movie on you tube today, for some reason someone posted only the parts with Alan Rickman, which is cool, but you feel like you're missing bits of the storyline. I read the synopsis as well, so I understood what was going on. I didn't care for the story really, it's stupid, and I didn't really like Alan's character he was such a wuss and lazy too. This movie could have been a lot, lot, lot better.

Surprisingly melodramatic for a British relationship drama, particularly when dealing with such a controversial subject. Also poorly shot, laughably scripted and laboriously paced. Rickman's the only thing watchable here, lending the film a class it doesn't earn.
