When a dance troupe is lured to an empty school, a bowl of drug-laced sangria causes their jubilant rehearsal to descend into a dark and explosive nightmare as they try to survive the night—and find who's responsible—before it's too late.

Climax is 45 minutes of exuberance and technical brilliance, revealed in long, brilliantly choreographed takes.

It might very well be my favorite film of the year, both for its surprising content... and the realization that the likes of Avengers and Jurassic World... failed to create as much awe in this moviegoer as a filmmaker operating his own camera.

CLIMAX will not be for everyone, for me it is worth it for the opening dance sequence alone. The music of the film is sensational as is the cast and hellish depraved decline of the characters while off their minds on too much acid. Gaspar Noé is an exceptional artist with film as his canvas. Do not be as stupid as me and take your Granny to this, this one isn't for the faint hearted. Full review is now up on Salty Popcorn.

There’s a spontaneity to Climax—a naturalistic immediacy born of its exceptional, energetic cast of unknowns, firing off entirely improvised jokes and insults and threats.

Súper rara, no es para cualquiera, como las de este director. Varias pelis en una sola, empieza con un tipo documental, continua a un musical, pasa a ser tipo KIDS, y termina como una de terror suspenso, y siempre con erotismo.
