Like other Wayne movies, there's complete identification between reel and real life: Chisum is described as "fat wealthy, tough, trusting, stubborn, generous, and sentimental."

well umn just seen this movie 4 the 1st time n think that this is a good movie 2 watch......its got a good cast of actors/actressess throughout this movie.....i think that john wayne, forrest tucker, christopher george, andrew prine, glenn corbett, ben johnson, bruce cabot, geoffrey deuel, pamela mcmyler play good roles/parts throughout this movie......i think that john wayne, forrest tucker, glenn corbett were great throughout this movie........i think that the director of this classics/western/drama/adventure movie had done a great job of directing this movie because you never know what 2 expect throughout this movie i think that the gun shoot outs were great throughout this movie i think that this is a great classics movie 2 watch

The older I get, the more I seem to like Wayne, who used to inhabit my pantheon of actors I's steer clear of. Although considered a classic, this is run-of-the-mill, but still enjoyable.
