Based on the lives of young musicians, this folk singer movie about struggling artists is whimsical and nostalgic, with incredible set design and costumes. The romance angle is definitely the best and most fleshed out part, for a very well made drama/romance film. The music is also really good too.

What a pleasant surprise this movie wound up being. Following the story of a South Korean folk trio's early years and mixing in a lovely, unsentimental love story C'est Si Bon feels like a more straight forward version of Inside Llewyn Davis. Full of heart, great music and bits of humor, It's a shame this movie probably won't be seen by many people stateside. If you do get the chance to see it though, don't hesitate.
