I adore this movie. You have to be far enough along in musical theater to truly appreciate the in-references and train-wreck satire. If you try to take it at face value you'll hurt yourself.

I remember the first time i watched this movie, i fell in love with the main character, he is so goregous...why isn't he in any other movies?!

It's the worst acting I've ever seen, but I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!!!! It's like everyone else has said though, if you're not a theater/music geek, you won't get it. It'd be like watching a silent movie with no subtitles.
