Caddyshack (1980)

At an exclusive country club, an ambitious young caddy, Danny Noonan, eagerly pursues a caddy scholarship in hopes of attending college and, in turn, avoiding a job at the lumber yard. In order to succeed, he must first win the favour of the elitist Judge Smails, and then the caddy golf tournament which Smails sponsors.

Caddyshack is an all time great comedy film that uses great characters, great lines, and great humor styles to its advantage. Bill Murray, Chevy Chase and Rodney Dangerfield give great comedic performances with Dangerfield giving one of the best of all time.

The king, the original, the classic. One the best comedy movies ever made, you can't truly understand American comedy until you've seen Caddyshack.

So I jump ship in Hong Kong and I get a job as a Looper...Yeah looper jock...so I tell them I'm a pro jock and who do they give me... the Dhali Lama himself the 12th son of the lama, the flowing robes the grace, bald, striking. So we're on the 18th and he goes and whacks one in a 100 foot crevice in this glacier and at the end he stiffs me...and I was like hey Lama how about something you know for the effort...and you know what he said...on your death bed you will receive total consciousness...so I got that going for me, which is nice.
