Wow...you could watch this with your eyes closed and SWEAR Ingrid Bergman was Isabella Rosellini. I get confused for her a lot too, dontcha know??

Very enjoyable! Goldie Hawn is a hoot. A great movie for a Friday night.

Pleasing but dated romantic comedy which is an excellent example of the type of films being produced by Hollywood at the time. Goldie Hawn won an Oscar for her lovable but scatty characterization but its Ingrid Bergman who shines as a dowdy nurse realizing the full potential of her womanhood. Moderately funny and curiously likeable.

The plot [from the play by Abe Burrows, based on a French play by Barillet & Gredy] is minimal and the lines are somewhat stilted and hollow, but if the direction was tighter and the mood kept light and airy it might have worked.
